UNDERSTANDING THE GIFT

OF GOD'S LOVE

(John 3:16-18)

 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Satan (the devil) came to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (to condemn). God sent Jesus so that we (would not be condemned) and that we may have and enjoy life, in abundance to the full, till it overflows (God is Love).

WHAT IS THE GIFT OF LOVE

The Gift of Love Is Salvation

Salvation can best be defined as deliverance from all curses, including death. According to the Word of God, one will be saved from enemies (Luke 1:71); saved from sins (Romans 10:1, 9-10); delivered from slavery (Acts 7:25); and saved from physical infirmity (Acts 4:12).

The price has already been paid by the blood of Jesus Christ. (1Corinthians 6:19&20) says; that you are not your own, but you have been bought with a price.

(Ephesians 2:8) says; ''For by Grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works (your efforts) lest any man should boast''.

Salvation comes from the Greek word “Soteria” which means deliverance.

  WHAT IF I MAKE A MISTAKE?

                                                                                                        (Mess Up, Sin)

Once a person is born again, he is a spiritual babe in Christ. Just like a baby in the natural, you will stumble and fall, sin, mess up, and make mistakes. However ! you don't have to stay down when you fall. God has already forgiven you of all of your mistakes, sins, and mess ups, past, present, and future. All you have to do is focus on keeping your eyes on God's Word and how much He loves you.

AM I GOING TO BE TESTED?

WHO DOES THE TESTING?

The bible says in the book of (Mark Chapter 4), that the sower soweth the Word.  As the Word is sown Satan comes to apply the test.  He comes to steal your freedom and make you stumble.  (I Peter 5:8) says, “The devil; as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.’’

WHAT DOES KNOWING JESUS HAVE TO DO WITH MY SALVATION?

(Acts 4:12) says; there is no other name named where by we must be saved.  In (John 14:16), Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.’’

HOW DO I KEEP MY GIFT?

You are responsible for keeping your gift of salvation by studying God’s Word.  (I Peter 2:2) says; “desire the sincere milk of the Word that one may grow.”  (John 8: 31-32) says, “If you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.   If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”

 How   To Develop Your Gift

( Hebrews 10:25)   It is very important that you get into a Bible Teaching Church that will help you develop your gift  ( Romans 12:2) Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind by the Word of God.

(Hosea 4:6) My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge: (of God's Word) because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you.

Rejection means you will hinder God from Blessing you, because you  reject (choose not to do) God's Word.

 A SINNER’S PRAYER

```````````````
Heavenly Father…
You said in your word “If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”  (Romans 10:9-10).
      I  believe  in  my  heart that Jesus Christ is the son of  God.  I  believe that He was raised from the dead for my   justification.  I  confess  Him now as my Lord and I do  believe with my heart that I am saved and that I am the     righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Thank You Lord
